Terms of Service

Last updated: April 13, 2026

These are the terms for using Pay to Snooze. They're written in plain language because nobody reads legalese. By downloading or using the app, you're agreeing to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.

What Pay to Snooze Is

Pay to Snooze is an alarm app made by Shapes & Stories LLC, a California company. By using the app, you're granted a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use it on devices you own. That's a fancy way of saying: you can use the app, but you don't own it.

In-App Purchases

Snooze charges are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID. Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy, since your payment data never passes through our systems.

Charity Donations

Shapes & Stories LLC donates a portion of snooze revenue to charitable organizations. You can choose which cause to support within the app — current options include WWF, The Ocean Cleanup, and UNICEF, though these may change over time. Your charity choice is stored locally on your device. No personal information is shared with charity partners.

AlarmKit

The app uses Apple's AlarmKit to schedule alarms that persist system-wide. Alarm data is managed by iOS and is not transmitted to any external server. You can revoke alarm permission at any time in iOS Settings.

What You Can't Do

Nobody wants a list of rules, but here it is. Please don't:

Basically: use the app, hit snooze, support a good cause.

Intellectual Property

Everything in Pay to Snooze — the design, the sounds, the visuals, all of it — is owned by Shapes & Stories LLC. Using the app doesn't transfer any ownership to you. The Pay to Snooze name, logo, and related marks belong to Shapes & Stories LLC as well.

Children

Pay to Snooze doesn't have accounts, doesn't ask for personal information, and doesn't knowingly collect data from children. If you're under 13 (or under the applicable age in your country), you should only use the app with a parent or guardian's permission. If a parent or guardian believes their child has somehow provided personal information, reach out at support@pay2snooze.comand we'll delete it promptly.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Pay to Snooze is built to be reliable and annoying enough to get you out of bed, but the app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by applicable law. There's no guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that every alarm will fire on every device and OS version. Things break sometimes. Fixes come as fast as possible.

If you're in the EU or another jurisdiction that provides statutory consumer guarantees, nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Also not covered: consequences of actually waking up on time. If you arrive at the airport three hours early or show up to a meeting suspiciously well-rested, that's on you.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Shapes & Stories LLC won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pay to Snooze. Total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you've actually paid for it. This does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including EU consumer protection law.

Disputes

Pay to Snooze is made by a small team. If something's wrong, please reach out at support@pay2snooze.com before taking any formal action. Most issues can be resolved with a conversation, and that's always the preferred first step.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. If you're an EU consumer, you retain any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence, and nothing in these terms affects your right to bring a claim in your local courts.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. When that happens, the “last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of Pay to Snooze after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Privacy

Your privacy matters. For details on what data Pay to Snooze collects and how it's handled, see the Privacy Policy.
